3000k bulbs are traditionally used in fog light applications and emit a bright yellow output to enhance visibility in snow, rain, and foggy weather conditions. They are perfect for track use when used in low beam applications.

If you have a daytime running light (DRL) system on your low beams, you will need to disable it or bypass it by tapping another 12v source like a parking light. Disabling a DRL system is different for every vehicle. To find information for your particular vehicle please browse LightsOut.org.
